Job Description:

  • Setting up needed tools and required infrastructure
  • Creating, updating and ensuring the implementation of several developments, testing, automation tools and IT infrastructure procedures
  • Defining several DevOps pipelines to integrate with projects
  • Monitoring and troubleshooting DevOps pipelines as an ongoing activity
  • Designing procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance of tools
  • Deploying updates and fixes, and providing technical support to escalated cases
  • Monitoring the software Development to ensure it is integrated with internal backend systems
  • Reviewing, verifying, and validating the software code developed in projects
  • Performing root cause analysis and handling incidents management
  • Designing, coding, testing, maintaining, and documenting programs based on the Operations Manager and clients requests
  • Analyzing software requirements and feasibility, staying alert to emerging technologies & DevOps trends
  • Ensuring the team is creating and maintaining proper technical documentation for reference and reporting
  • Creating and maintaining technical reference architecture (High Level & Low Level Designs)
  • Compiling timely, accurate and comprehensive reports as requested
  • Introducing new technologies and adopting new practices to enhance and ease existing processes
  • Maintaining high quality work and effective outcomes
  • Planning the team’s activities and involvement in project management activities
  • Overseeing all projects and ensuring they meet all its goals
  • Supporting the team with their issues and handling escalated problems
  • Resolving conflicts and complaints with the consultation of the Operations manager
  • Providing guidance and support to the Software developers team
  • Delegating authority and responsibility to the team to match their skills and abilities
  • Monitoring the activities and overtime of the team
  • Taking corrective action where inadequate performance is suspected
  • Holding monthly effective team meetings
  • Evaluating and motivating the team
