Job Description:
- Performing penetration tests on computer systems, networks, and applications
- Creating and implementing new testing methods to identify vulnerabilities
- Pinpointing methods and entry points that attackers may use to exploit vulnerabilities or weaknesses
- Searching for weaknesses in common software, web applications and proprietary systems
- Researching, evaluating, documenting, and discussing findings with other teams and customers
- Reviewing and providing feedback for information security fixes
- Recommending improvements for existing security services, including hardware, software, policies, and procedures to the customers
- Identifying areas where improvement is needed in security education and awareness for users
- Being sensitive to corporate considerations when performing testing (i.e. minimizing downtime and loss of employee productivity)
- Staying updated on the latest malware and security threats
- Conducting Vulnerability Assessments
- Conducting Network, Web Application, Mobile, Active Directory and Wireless Penetration Tests
- Conducting Social Engineering Tests through involving the human aspect in compromising security (example: sending phishing emails to customers’ employees)
- Conducting Red and Purple Team exercises (suggesting use cases for SOC Team and customers)
