Mideast Power Systems (MPS) Egypt is honored to announce its receipt of certificate of excellence from the Egyptian International Pharmaceutical Industries Company (EIPICO). This recognition was awarded for MPS exceptional role in supplying, installing, and maintaining a 400 KVA Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) system during the implementation of EIPICO’s new plant.

MPS provided a 400 KVA UPS solution, designed to ensure continuous power for the new facility at EIPICO. The facility’s success hinges on the reliable supply of uninterrupted power, as any fluctuation could disrupt the precision required in pharmaceutical manufacturing. MPS role in ensuring this reliability was key to the project’s success.

EIPICO was established in Tenth of Ramadan City in 1980, with a capital of EGP 7 million, currently raised to EGP 1500 million, as an Egyptian public shareholder company operating according to the Investment Law (No. 43/1974 modified by Law No. 32/1977).

EIPICO is currently constructing EIPICO 3 factory, on 10,500 square It will be designated for Biological & Biosimilar products and A new state of the art Modular Manufacturing Facility.
EIPICO 3 will be the first of its kind in Egypt and in the MENA Region, to manufacture Biosimilar & Biological products from the Cell Line all the way through Upstream & Downstream Process to reach Drug Substance as well as Drug Product.
With investments of 100 Million USD Shortly, it will produce drugs related to cancer, anemia and infertility.
